Will the use of apple cider vinegar as a toner,applied with cotton ball, effect the differin i puton afterward

I dont wash the vinegar off before i apply the differin, but i do wait at least 10-15 minutes, just wanting to know if the differin is still doing its job (peeling of skin, cuz its a retinoid) or if the vinegar is affecting that.Will the use of apple cider vinegar as a toner,applied with cotton ball, effect the differin i puton afterward
