I bleached my hair and put a toner in now some parts are blue.. HELP?!

I just bleached all of my hair and since it was a bit brassy and yellow, i put a silver toner in to tone down the brassiness. The toner worked and now most of my hair is a whitey blonde colour but there are strips of my hair that are blue from the toner. How can i fix this?? Is there anything apart from hair dye i can put in to fix it.. what should i do ?

NO do not color it again...just wash your hair a few times...the toner should come out...if not see a color specialist to correct...your hair is bleached so it is prone to breakage.....be careful

Go to the hairdresser. This is getting into colour correction which is complicated enough when you can see the hair, but because I can't even see your hair there is no way to give you sound advice.


The hairdresser will examine your hair's porosity and will know exactly what can and can't be done,
was it magic silver white that u used??? alot of toners are not perm they r only temp so after cpl washes it will fade out !! with blonde hair, coz of the bleach its so pourous so everything sticks nxt time use only a lil bit, and dnt leave in 4 so long!! i use a toner every week and i've had the same mis-haps!! :))) perservere and u will get a gr8 color!! i promise :))

Just make sure that you dont leave it on for as long next time you put toner through.





Toner is a temporary rinse which means it will wash out in a few days. Ive heard dandruff shampoo gets it out faster because of the strength of it, but ive never tried it. Depending on the texture of your hair and how often you wash it, it will just fade out normally after about a week.


For now...just use head scarves and find ways to put it up to cover it but im sure it still looks great.

i would recommend that you don't put any more toner in or get a professional to do it. or you will be seeing more blue strips
