If toner is low on fax will it affect clarity of OUTGOING faxes, or only incoming?

i have low toner and want to send a fax. does the fax machine need toner to send an outgoing fax or is it scanned instead? i thought it might just need toner for incoming faxes in order to print. if someone knows it would be a huge help for me.If toner is low on fax will it affect clarity of OUTGOING faxes, or only incoming?
Toner is used to print, it will not affect outgoing faxes in any way.If toner is low on fax will it affect clarity of OUTGOING faxes, or only incoming?
You only need it for incoming - take it out give it a shake it will normally last a bit longer
It will affect only your incoming fax,,but if you used it first as printer to print your outgoing fax then scan it and send it,,it will be affected too
Only incoming fax will be affect. Not outgoing, the data is read and send to the other fax, the other fax will print it and need ink
Incoming.
no dude, come on! It only SCANS when it's outgoing. How could toner affect scanning?
