How long does the laser toners last when out of the wrapping?

I don't use the printer much.How long does the laser toners last when out of the wrapping?
They can last a long time.





I have some LaserJet toner cartridges that are over 3 years old and still work. Sometimes I take the cartridge out and gently tilt it up and down to move the toner around that might have gotten stuck.How long does the laser toners last when out of the wrapping?
it will work for the next year or so. i think the ink will quagulate after a few years
Depends on humidity. I have known toners to last 5 years or more unwrapped.
