Is swimming a good body toner?

It really depends on what you want like for example if you really wanted to work out your abs i'd recemend doing the butterfly or for endurence do long distances of freestyleIs swimming a good body toner?

yes. its actually the best excercise u can do cuz it works both upper and lower body. it is also better than running because no pressure is put on ur joints. swimming tones ur body the best cuz water is harder 2 move through than air, therefore ur muscles have 2 work harder, and u will develp muscles quicker. plus, man was born 2 run, man was not born 2 swim.

Yes. Swimming is a good body toner but, it depends on wat kind of swimming you do. Like for instance, a short distance swimmer, known as sprinters, are cut and have more muscle mass. other wise, a long distance swimmer is much more longer in body length and lanky.
