Yes it would. http://tavine.com/Anti-Aging-Products/Av鈥?/a>Would avon's pure pore-fection self foaming cleanser and skin refining toner clear acne prone skin up?
OMG...
YES!!!
This is the only thing that has helped my skin. I love this line! Everytime it's on sale I stock up. I'm so scared that they will discontinue it. I don't know what I'd do. LOL

Whats a good facial moisturizer and toner?
My fave moisturiser is Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser.Whats a good facial moisturizer and toner?
Well it depends on wht type of skin you have...dry, combo, oily, etc...
I have oily skin. I use Johnsons and Johnsons toner or Witch Hazel. And siny oily skin people usually have shiny faces...I use Biore Shine Free moisturizer.
Theres other stuff I use to prevent shine and blemishes, but since you only asked about toner and moisturizers im not gonna go into my daily face cleaning regimen lolWhats a good facial moisturizer and toner?
Mary Kay offers TimeWise products for both normal/dry skin and combination/oily skin. The cleanser works as a cleanser, exfoliator, and toner so you take care of three steps of skincare with one product. Follow that with the TimeWise moisturizer and you are all set! If your skin requires more moisture than the regular moisturizer there is also an Intense Moisturizing Cream and Oil-Free Hydrating Gel.
Most people don't really need a toner. Use a moisterizer that doesn't clog pores and that is made for your skin type (dry, combination, or oily). If you are concerned about wrinkles Consumer Reports rated Oil of Olay Regenerist as a top moisterizer with Lancome in second at a much higher cost. It really depends on how much money you want to spend on facial products, but higher cost doesn't necessarily make a better product.
try ';ponds';..
If you are looking for a supermarket brand that does the trick, look for Johnsons %26amp; Johnsons, or Neutrogena. If you want to spend a bit more, look Clarins is famed for its skincare quality. Remember the 3 step method, Cleanse, Tone and Moisterise, and always look for a SPF protection to reduce premature ageing.

What are some facial toners you would recommend?
I have a lot of dark marks on my forehead. What would be the best toner? Also I'm looking for a face cleaners. So far i have been using Clean and Clear, and I'm not 100% it's working. So what brand should I try after this? I have really oily skin. What are some facial toners you would recommend?
to tone use witch hazel. trust me. it works awesome. i have the same problem you do. it's natural and tones and refreshes without stripping natural oils which causes dryness. as a face wash, use something that is for oily skin that is oil free so as not to add to the oiliness. i like st. ives pore cleanser. it really works and is really cheap. What are some facial toners you would recommend?
I would recommend Burt's bees Garden tomato toner:
Tomato, cucumber and parsley extracts help to clean and tighten pores, leaving skin smoother and firmer. They're blended with sugar cane, sugar maple and bilberry extract, natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), to help boost skin's elasticity and accelerate exfoliation. This formula is recommended for normal to oily skin.
Or Burt's bees Rosewater and Glycerin Toner:
Improve your skin's tone and texture in one easy step. Natural rosewater, aloe vera and glycerin in this formula gently purify and tone delicate facial skin, leaving it refreshed and younger looking.
( it says it is for sensitive and mature skin but it is for everyone )
They are both 99% nature which is great for your skin!
Also you can go to acne.org for really good advice and prosuct rewiews!

The body shop tea tree based toner suitable for normal to oily skin?
I have a combination of skin type (normaltooily)
I wonder if the tea tree oil toner be TOO strong for my skin?
I am afraid it will dry up my skin and that will lead to break outs...
btw , i live in a humid climate..
can someone advise me? =)The body shop tea tree based toner suitable for normal to oily skin?
You can get a tester tea tree toner and dab it on the underside of your forearm to check whether you have any allergy. If any redness or rashes show, it proves that it is allergic reaction and thus not suitable for your face. Hope this info helps.

Tee Tree oil is really Melaleuca alternifolia oil Today, annual producton of Melaleuca alternifolia oil exceeds 300 million tons. Melaleuca alternifolia oil is sold worldwide by direct marketing companies, health food outlets, and is used by dozens of other companies as ingredients in a variety of cosmetic and personal care products. Many different factors have converged that have led to the growth of the tea tree oil industry. First, over the past decade, extensive research has been performed on 100% Melaleuca alternafolia oil, and the results have been amazing. Tea tree oil has been shown to be an effective treatment for cuts, burns, and abrasions. Tests have also confirmed its effectivenes in treating acne, dandruff, a variety of fungal and bacterial infections, boils, and numerous dental problems. As a result, more and more doctors and dentists are using tea tree oil in their practices and recommending it to their patients as well.
Second, there is a growing concern over the excess use of synthetic chemicals in today's society. Modern chemicals have been linked to cancer and birth defects. Many modern medicines don't work or have too many unwanted side effects. Natural products are no longer being viewd as absurd or backwards. Educated consumers are actively seeking natural ingredients for medicinal and cosmetic purposes.
Third, growers in Australia, in conjunction with the government, are actively seeking new and more efficient ways to produce higher quality oil. Growers are now producing oil with over 40% Terpinen 4-ol and Cineole levels at 3%. Breakthroughs in genetic engineering have opened up new avenues of research. To ensure the future of the tea tree oil industry, a multi-million dollar research facility has been established at The Souther Cross University in New South Wales (Australia). The center, known as the Australian Tea Tree Oil Research Institute (ATTORI), is entirely devoted to discovering everything there is to know about Melaleuca alternifolia oil. Everyone from growers to sellers, is actively involved with improving the tea tree oil quality.
Although tea tree oil has become quite popular, some words of caution need to be shared. In 1996, the International Standards Organization (ISO) drafted new specifications for ';tea tree oil';. The Terpinen 4-ol and the Cineole levels remained identical to the Australian standards set in 1985. However, the ISO
made it possible for other species of Melaleuca tree oil to be sold as tea tree oil, even though ';tea tree oil'; had been synonymous with Melaleuca alternifolia oil since the 1920's. No other species of Melaleuca tree has an essential oil as powerful as the Melaleuca alternifolia tree.
Today, even the American Tea Tree Association allows blended oil to be sold as ';pure tea tree oil';. It is important that you make sure you are purchasing a good quality of 100% pure Melaleuca alternifolia oil. there are a few good companies that guarantee the quality and purity of the oil they sell. Check the label. If it doesn't have at least 35% Terpinen 4-ol and no more than 10% Cineole (the 1967 standard), don't buy it.

I have blackheads! help! Exfoliate, cleanser, toner?
which do i use first. do i cleanse/exfoliate and then toner. and should i open up the pores first or?
thank you!I have blackheads! help! Exfoliate, cleanser, toner?
try ordering proactive i've been using it for three years and my skin is awesome!I have blackheads! help! Exfoliate, cleanser, toner?
steam your face over a basin of hot water. when the pores are open gently exfoliate, either using a buff puff or with an exfoliating cleanser.
Gently wipe your face first with warm water then with cold to close the pores and then use a toner. If you are prone to blackheads try not to use moisturiser but find a light serum instead.
Hot water on facecloth (opens pores)...massage face with glycerin soap.(cleanses and minimizes size of pores)
Rinse with hot water.(washes soap residue)
Then splash cold water on face. (closes pores)
Apply toner or Witch hazel.(freshens and removes grease=priming face)
Then...moisturize with grease free moisturizer...once pores are closed.
just find a good blackhead cleanser....it's so much easier than doing all that....they have little tools to remove blackheads too. biore blackhead remover is great!!
use colgate, trust me, it will workfun myspace.com

Does Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner work?
I bought it yesterday and used it twice so far. I have really oily and acne-prone skin as well as dirty pores, so I thought it be perfect to try out. I know I won't see results right away, but I'm wondering if it really does work and noticeably improves your skin. Also, when I use it it burns. Is that normal? I don't really have sensitive skin. Give me your reviews please!Does Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner work?
No, if it burns, stop using it. You should see results after the first use but visible results after the secondDoes Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner work?
I have use this burst bee tomato toner I didn't like it my skin was starting to burned like you. I throw it away because this awful products has Alcohol in it this is a bad ingredient to use on your face no matter what type of skin you have. my skin is sensitive so this toner made my skin tomato red very awful feeling so every time you buy a toner always look at the ingredients first use a alcohol free toner I would recommend to use thayers witch hazel alcohol free so is safe to use on your face great for oily complexion just be careful because they have 2 version one that has alcohol %26amp; the other one doesn't have ok. you will find it on gnc stores or vitaminshoppe.com stores or just buy toner that you feel it would help your skin but no alcohol please!

Is it ok to use face toner everyday after u wash ur face?
Yes it is, as long as it doesn't contain skin irritants like alcohol which is very drying for any skin--even oily, there are other irritants also, check out the website below, it is so helpful to me. I use toner every morning and night after washing my face, mine contains anti-oxidants which are good for your skin. A good, well-formulated toner will NOT dry out your face and a moisturizer isn't required for every skin type like everyone is telling you. Of course a moisturizer would be needed if you have dry skin or dry areas. I only use moisturizer in the winter time, summer time the toner by itself works for me. Remember the alcohol in some astringents/toners is what dries your skin out--moisturizer or not.Is it ok to use face toner everyday after u wash ur face?
yes, absolutely!
to maintain proper pH balance of your skin, you need to cleanse, tone, and moisturize daily.
cleanser removes dirt and makeup,
toner removes cleanser residue and tightens pores,
moisturizer adds essential water to the skin (not oil).
also, try to use a mask or exfoliant at least once a week.Is it ok to use face toner everyday after u wash ur face?
yes
It's good hygiene, but be careful not to over-dry your skin. If you have normal skin, reduce the use to once in two days if excessive drying occurs.
But if you have dry skin to begin with, you probably should not use it. Not more than once a week, anyways.
What the toner basically does is dry up the oils and impurities in your skin's surface quickly and intensely. If you overdo it, however, you will cause the outer layer of the skin (there are 7 total layers) to dry and break. Once the skin is broken, new bacteria and impurities can penetrate it without any problem and cause new infections - zits.
Just don't overdo it. You can instead use gentle creamy face-washes on a daily basis that honestly have a similar effect without the danger of the toner.
Good luck ;)
yes only if you put lotion on afterwards
I do but put lotion an your face! Or else it will dry up.
Yeah, its ok but make sure you use a moisturiser after the toner.
