Please can you tell me what works best for oily/normal skin?
Please don't say clearasil because they didn't work for me ';/
The cheapest best quality ones you can get pleasee.
Best answer chosen by me xWhat cleansers, toners and moisturisers actually work?
aveeno products hands down.
I've been using them for a long time and they have never failed me.
I have two sisters and they both use them too (so does my mom)
I have dry skin, one of my sister has dry skin too (she uses the sensitive formulas) , and my other sister has normal/oily skin, my mom has normal skin.
So it works regardless of skin type. You can even read reviews on aveeno products. they work.
XxWhat cleansers, toners and moisturisers actually work?
I personally LOVE Proactiv. It's really not that pricey since you don't have to reorder each month unless you want to but they have a million different products for all different skin types. My skin is so oily and now that I use it my tone is fair and matted and I love it.
Yello!!
cleansers: clean and clear products %26lt;3
toners: clean and clear %26lt;3 have a variety
MOISTURIZERS: clean and clear SOFT or OLAY Complete :)
HOPE THIS HELPS !!! :D
well if your looking for cheap, then just go to cvs. but personally, i like sephora.

TONER? does toner really make pores smaller and firmer? can u suggest a good toner for oily skin? thanks!?
Toner refreshes the skin, it does help refine pores but I wouldn't say it makes them noticably smaller..
The best type of toner is an alcohol free one because it's gentler on the skin and wont dry it out so much, and it wont make your skins natural reaction produce so much oil.
Try ';johnson's'; face wash an toner.. nice an cheap an they do the job.. also if your up for experiments I do believe that johnson's/ clearasil makes a product that reduces the oily shine if you wanna look into it :)TONER? does toner really make pores smaller and firmer? can u suggest a good toner for oily skin? thanks!?
you can never make a pore smaller. once you get noticeable pores, your stuck with them unfortunately. toner helps to strengthen your pore walls, which will help with blackheads and whiteheads. the only way to make pores appear smaller is to keep them clean and try to decrease the amount of blackheads.

What does a toner do?
It's used to balance skin pH right?
But I'm wondering.....why do we need to have a certain pH level? Does our skin become damaged at a certain pH or something? What happens if the pH is too high or too low? What does a toner do?
Yeah, it's used to balance skin pH to prevent breakouts.
For instance, since the T-zone is usually oilier than the rest of your face, after applying toner after a period of time, it's supposed to balance them out. What does a toner do?
it tones stuff.

What does hair toner look like?
can anyone show me any images of what hair toner bottles look like?
because ive been into boots, superdrug and all the chemists and asked for it and none of them said they sold any
and the hairdressers dont either
people keep saying you can buy hair toner from virtually anywhere!
its confusing!
(i need a hair toner for getting rid of the brassy yellowy tones in my hair)What does hair toner look like?
Ok I'm pretty sure I told you what to do about this already, but here goes again:
Before anything else, try using a violet based shampoo....Clairol Simmerlights or Aveda Blue Malva...Framesi Ultra Violet. Start at your roots and work down to your ends...leave it on about 3-5 minutes. That will help neutralize the yellow.
Also, if you still need to tone...I would probably use a light blond toner or the lightest ash you can find (you can use a semi-permanent deposit only color to tone). And be careful about going too ash-toned, as bleached hair is very porous and can end up looking muddy or gray. What does hair toner look like?
toner is a semi or demi perminant hair color. when you get it make sure it is ashy or it wont get rid of tthe brassyness. dont leave it on more than like 10-15 minutes either. a beauty supply store would usually be able to help you
I recently got highlights in my hair and they came out brassy and I bought a violet based shampoo its called shimmer lights I used it once and it really took alot of the brassy and gold tones out of my hair. U can find this at any beauty supply stores I bought mine at sallys and it was 8 dollars it works really good and u dont have to put any chemicals in ur hair. Hope I was able to help u out.
ok have you tried shimmering light shampoo???? if not sally;s beauty supply sell borne blonde toner and also miss clairol toner. i buy it there.
Toner is that stuff grannies use as blue rinse or pink when they have it set. I think Decore discontinued their magic silver white purple stuff but try looking for brilliant silver white and if you cant find it anywhere you'll be able to find it where they sell coat enhancer products for show ponies. No joke and same deal.
You should go to your local beauty supplies and ask them to give you the toner for the hair color you want to achieve. Toner is kinda like a dye.
Good Luck

Do you apply toner with a cotton ball?
It's not the best thing to use but using a cotton pad that you can buy at wallgreens is the best to use it wont absorb all your toner like a cotton ball will it will make your toner last longer and do the best job possible!!! Goodluck!Do you apply toner with a cotton ball?

Must you apply toner before apply tropical creams or not?
i always wonder whether must i apply toner before appyling acne creams , toner close up pores so will it be more effective if u use a tonerMust you apply toner before apply tropical creams or not?
yes, you should always use a toner, you definitely want to remove any residue left on your face and you also want to make sure that your pores are deep cleaned. The acne cream or lotion will still work, if it has salicylic acid it will keep your pores open and clean.

No, any good acne cream will work on it's own. You don't have to prep the skin. Toner is best for removing any last traces of face wash or oils from the skin.
