Should you put lotion/skin toner on your pores?

i have unusual large pores around my nose....





1) if i put lotion/skin toner on the pores, will it get bigger?


2) also will it redden it?


3) kinda another topic, but --- when are you suppposed to put your toner on your face? everytime you wash it? because i wash it 3 times a day wth cleansers...





and the lotion i'm using is cetaphil moisturizing lotion.

To answer your specific questions:


1. No, they will not get bigger


2. No, it should not make your face red (unless you have a reaction to it)


3. You should put toner on after washing but before your lotion.





And NO, you don't have to use it. A lot of people do - I used to. And honestly, one day I just stopped and nothing bad happened. I rarely use toner, if ever. If you are oily, it's nice in between to give you that ';tight'; feeling but it's not necessary and even stripping if you do an already good job of washing your face.Should you put lotion/skin toner on your pores?
